Our Membership & Meetings

Membership is open to anyone with an interest in clinical microbiology.

State meetings take place in Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia during the spring months. The annual meeting, held in late October/early November, is open to the entire clinical microbiology community. The location of the meeting rotates among the four member states.
Meetings include presentations and workshops which are led by individuals who are recognized regionally and nationally for their expertise in clinical microbiology. SEACM also invites distributors and manufacturers of microbiology products to exhibit as part of the general session activities. Meetings attendees benefit from the opportunity to see and learn more about the latest products and technology available to clinical microbiologists.
